Dining Out for FRIENDS is a new fundraiser combining the efforts of the Heart of Illinois Hospitality Association, businesses, community leaders, volunteers, dinners, and Central Illinois FRIENDS of People with AIDS. This fundraiser is a spin off of our annual signature event, Dining With FRIENDS, an at-home fundraiser.
Dining Out for FRIENDS will take place on Tuesday evening, May 27, 2008 in which area restaurants will provide a percentage of their proceeds for the evening to FRIENDS.
Our goal this year is to have 20 participating restaurants and establish a new annual fundraiser that will help the FRIENDS of PWA provide more programs and services to the increasing number of HIV+ and AIDS related clients in Central Illinois.
