Central Illinois FRIENDS of People with AIDS will again host Dining With FRIENDS along with the individual dinners and get together's that have become such a tradition.

The event is simple.  Dinner hosts invite friends, neighbors, family and/or acquaintances to their homes or selected restaurants for dinner during the month of September.  Past dinners have ranged from elaborate five-course meals to simple backyard barbeques.  The hosts then request a donation to attend their meals.  These "charges" are 100% donations to FRIENDS and are turned in at the FRIENDS office, 120 NE Glen Oak Ave., Suite 201, Peoria, IL  61603.  Please do not mail cash. 

This year in place of the Dessert Finale, hosts are invited to attend a Pre-Halloween VIP party at the Cornerstone on Saturday, October 29, 2011 prior to the Halloween Bash.

Funds raised from the event go to help support FRIENDS Emergency Assistance Programming.

Note: The thank you cards need to be printed on a specific weight of paper if they are going to be mailed as self mailers. Postal regulations require the weight of the paper to be at least 80 lb cover or higher to be mailed. We believe that postage is only .28 as long as people trim to size.
