Every year, FRIENDS sponsors or co-sponsors many events throughout the central Illinois area. Please take a look at these wonderful events that help FRIENDS maintain the high level of services we provide to our clients as well as educate the community about FRIENDS.

Dining Out for FRIENDS is a new fundraiser combining the efforts of the Heart of Illinois Hospitality Association, businesses, community leaders, volunteers, diners, and Central Illinois FRIENDS of People with AIDS. This fundraiser is a spin off of our annual signature event, Dining With FRIENDS, an at-home fundraiser.
Dining Out for FRIENDS will take place on Tuesday evening, May 27, 2008 in which area restaurants will provide a percentage of their proceeds for the evening to FRIENDS. The event will also bring business to area restaurants on a typically slow dining out night.
Our goal this year is to have 20 participating restaurants and establish a new annual fundraiser that will help the FRIENDS of PWA provide more programs and services to the increasing number of HIV+ and AIDS related clients in Central Illinois.
